NIU Wireless Keystart Accessory
With the newer generations of NIU scooters, they have a feature where the scooter can be started without having to use the physical key to unlock the scooter. With this wireless key start accessory, you can separately install this feature onto your scooter, so that even older models are able to start the scooter without having the scooter key at hand. If you still want to start the scooter using the original key, it is still possible.
Step-by-Step Instructions for Installing the Wireless Key Accessory on Your Scooter
1: Connect the Headlight Circuit
– Locate the two large plugs from the accessory.
– Connect these plugs to the headlight circuit of your scooter.
Step 2: Connect the Steering Lock Circuit
– Identify the two smaller pieces from the accessory.
– Connect these pieces to the steering lock circuit.
– Refer to the video to see the exact placement of these smaller pieces.
– Ensure you have the correct pieces by checking for the black and red cables in the original steering lock circuit.
Step 3: Pair the Wireless Key Accessory
– Turn on the scooter.
– Press and hold the small button on the new wireless key accessory for about 10 seconds.
– Look for a red light flashing at the bottom of the accessory box.
– Once the light starts flashing, press the button again shortly .
– Press the alarm button or the unlock button on your scooter keypad to start matching.
– Shortly press the alarm or unlock button once and observe the reaction in the box.
– Press the button again once you see a reaction.
– When the accessory is correctly matched, you will be able to turn the scooter on and off using the accessory.
Troubleshooting Tips
1. Ensure Proper Connections:
– Make sure all circuits are properly connected: the accessory should be connected to both the headlight and steering lock circuits.
2. Check for Proper Matching:
– If the accessory doesn’t work, ensure it is properly matched.
– The flashing light is at the bottom of the accessory box.
– Repeat the installation steps a few times if necessary.

Great accessory to add to your scooter. My keys are both bent because I hit them with my knee while getting on the scooter.
Now I just keep the keys in my pocket! I did put tape on the speaker box of the alarm. I find it quite an annoying sound every time I turn the scooter on or off. Greetings!

Geweldige accessoire om aan je scooter toe te voegen. Mijn sleutels zijn beide krom doordat ik er met mijn knie tegenaan kwam tijden het op stappen.
Nu gewoon sleutels in mijn zak houden! Wel heb ik tape geplakt op de speaker box van het alarm. Vind ‘t nogal een irritant geluid namelijk telkens als ik de scooter aan of uitzet. Groetjes!

Werkt, had aanvankelijk wat problemen met installeren (om het te matchen) maar dankzij geweldige service (snel antwoord, vriendelijk en behulpzaam) door Escootparts kreeg ik het aan de gang 😉

press open the lighting switches on
then press lock to turn on the scooter (scooter turns on and can drive)
then press open to turn it off
then wait for the lights to turn off and then lock to turn the alarm back on

Als hij uit staat kan ik hem met
druk op open gaat de verlichting aan
dan druk op slot om de scooter aan te zetten (scooter gaat aan en kan rijden)
dan druk op open om hem weer uit te zetten
dan wachten tot de verlichting uit is en dan op slot om het alarm weer aan te zetten
