Works as intended. The only potential risk is when using a charging station that has a locking mechanism and no way to interrupt charging from the station itself. This adapter does not send start/stop charging signals, so in those cases the station may not unlock, leaving the charger stuck. The only workaround is to completely power off the station so the locking mechanism shuts down.
