What makes our battery cells different?
This battery is built using large-format lithium cells used in high-end electric vehicles. Compared to traditional 18650 cells, fewer individual cells are required, resulting in fewer weld points and improved long-term reliability.
- Aluminium casing per cell for improved safety compared to soft pouch cells
- Lightweight with higher capacity compared to lead-acid batteries
- Fewer cells required → fewer weld points → longer lifecycle

Compatibility & Installation
Designed for NIU MQI+ / UQIGT / UQI+ / SQI models (48V systems). The battery is plug-and-play and works with original components.
For dual battery scooters (such as MQI GT), both batteries must be upgraded to avoid imbalance issues.
Upgrades & Performance
This battery increases range and provides a slight performance improvement.
- For maximum performance → combine with a controller upgrade
- For extended range → use with a dual battery setup
How to estimate range
- Compare original vs upgraded battery capacity (Ah)
- Example: 53Ah / 20Ah = ~2.6× more range
Charging
You can use your original charger. Charging time increases with battery size.
Example: 53Ah battery ÷ 4A charger = ~13 hours
Using a 10A fast charger = ~5 hours

Bought a 50A battery to replace my original 30A battery that broke. The new battery has a really sturdy feel to it and I get a lot more range out of it, which was expected with it being almost double the capacity. It was stuck in customs a little longer than expected and since I couldn’t track it at that point I reached out to Escootparts who were great and provided me with updates. When the package arrived it was well packed.
So great quality and customer service at a great price. I checked the price of a new original battery where I live and converted to EUR it would have been about 1750 EUR, the battery from Escootparts was 500 EUR cheaper and had 50A capacity compared to 30A.

The support of the seller was very great. Even while the battery was stuck in customs, I always got feedback and was given updates on the status of the order. Due to customs, the delivery got delayed immensely, but the order arrived unharmed.
As for the battery I still have to drive a lot with my NIU MQi GT EVO, but I can tell that the capacity has increased alot compared to the original set of batteries.
I definitely recommend this shop and I’m planning to buy more parts from them.

I bought two batteries that work perfectly, although it was difficult to pair them with the moped. Support fixed this with a couple of software related changes of the BMS and I’m super happy with the result! now the actual range is about 165 km on one charge!

Simply just; WOW.
More than double capacity compared to the NIU original, at roughly the same price. I weigh 90 kg and can go around 70 km without draining the battery below 20%.
I have had this for 1 month now, no regrets 🙂

I tried with original ECU and it was more than double autonomy and also the speed was little better because with original battery after 50% (that was after few kilometers) you start to feel less acceleration.
You can see first triangle with original and the other with new. The kilometers it take to reach 50%
