When upgrading a NIU scooter controller or increasing current, a suitable extra-thick battery cable can reduce electrical resistance and heat compared with a thinner cable. Choose the correct 6 mm² or 8 mm² version and connector for your setup. It supports suitable performance upgrades, but does not by itself guarantee that connectors, battery, BMS or wiring will not overheat; the current settings must match the complete system.
