Replace worn brake pads to maintain reliable braking on your compatible NIU scooter. Check the brakes at least annually and more often with frequent riding; replace pads when they reach the manufacturer’s wear limit. Squealing, scraping or reduced braking can indicate worn pads, but noise or brake drag may also have another cause. Inspect the pads, disc and caliper before replacement and choose the correct front or rear fitment.
