NIU Software Service – NGT / NPRO / NGTS

For the NPRO, NGTS, and NGT, we offer a professional software service. You will need to send your motherboard to our address in the Netherlands. After programming, we will send it back to you. The price includes return shipping. If you are outside of Europe, please select the express shipping option.

Features

  • Maximum speed for NGT, NGTS, and NPRO increases to 95–100 km/h
  • All original functions of the scooter remain intact (GPS, App, etc.)
  • Not just a speed delimitation – overall power is improved by increasing battery output

Programmable Options

With the software service, we can configure:

  • Starting Mode (1, 2, or 3)
  • Acceleration Strength (for Modes 1, 2, and 3) in %
  • Speed per Mode (for Modes 1, 2, and 3) in %
  • Ampere Setting (increases battery power and scooter performance)
  • Reversing feature

Please leave a message in the order notes indicating which features you would like adjusted.

Shipping

As soon as we receive your motherboard, we typically ship it back the same day.

  • Within Europe: Estimated delivery in 2–4 days
  • Outside Europe: Customers are responsible for any import duties on both shipping directions

    Works as intended. Free wheelspin 95 km/h. When i ride only 85, would have been nice it actually went up to max also there.

    The original speed levels of the NIU NQi GTs are annoying in Swiss City Traffic. With the new programming, Level 1 and 2 are perfectly adapted to the 30 km/h and 50 km/h zones.
    In sport mode, I initially reached 82 km//h instead of 78 km/h according to the display (a little disappointing, but perhaps the limit of this 3kw Bosch). But now it‘s back just to 78 again. May I thank NIU for this?

    Scooter drives still very well. After the tune I have driven about 3500km. Top speed is 82 from speedometer.

    It runs in mode 1 = 50 km/h, mode 2 = 70 km/h, mode 3 = 85 km/h. Thanks to you.

    All values with fully charged batteries out of the garage (tempered to ~20°C)
    Mode 1: 46km/h
    Mode 2: 66 – 67 km/h
    Mode 3: 79 – 80 km/h

    Big advantage: still reaches 69 – 70km/h if battery is at about 33%

    I have a 2021 nqi gts, i couldn’t see a motherboard on the site so sent an email and they managed to get me one delivered to the uk within 1 week customer service was amazing from start to finish, right down to the guys giving me a detailed guide of how to program! Pleased to say my 45mph scooter now does 60mph with me sat on it! Absolutley brilliant service

    I tested it today, not much because it is still raining but I wanted to give it a try. It feels damn good!!! max speed 100 – 105 kph on the GPS and similar reading in the display

    – with difficulty retrieves the scooter. 80 km/h (that’s a lot!)
    – did a NIU check yesterday everything good

    Speeds on the road are: position 1 50
    Position 2 65
    Position 3 80

    Summary very happy!
