How to Calculate Charging Time

Formula: Charging Time (h) ≈ Battery Ah ÷ Charger A 

You have two batteries and they are both 60 volts 35 ampere. If you’re going to charge one battery with your 4 ampere charger, you’re going to have to charge 35/4 ampere which is 8.75 hours. If you are charging both batteries simultaneously that is 17.5 hours. Now if you use our fast charger and you charge both batteries at the same time through the scooter at 10 ampere, it will only take 7 hours.

This charger is optimal if you have if you’re running a dual battery setup for example for your NGT or if you have an N1S and you added a second battery. 

Extended-Range Batteries Allow Faster Charging

Our extended-range batteries are engineered with a larger Battery Management System (BMS), thicker wiring, and upgraded components.
This design allows them to handle higher charging currents safely —  10 A.

  • Original batteries: Usually limited to 4 – 6 A. Going higher can shorten lifespan or trigger protection cut-offs.
  • Extended-range batteries: Built for faster charging; a 48 V 64 Ah battery charged with a 10 A adjustable charger can finish in roughly 6.5 hours and give you 160KM of range.
