NIU N-Series battery upgrade

NIU NGT / N1S 72V Battery

Choose 70Ah, 100Ah or 120Ah for substantially more range and stronger performance potential. A Bluetooth BMS and compatible 72V charger are included.

Which capacity should I choose?

Simplest installation

72V 70Ah

Fits the original NQI / N1S battery space after removing the original battery box. Approximate dimensions: 31.5 × 31.0 × 16.5 cm.

More range

72V 100Ah

Higher capacity for longer-distance riding. Use the no-welding battery box to create the required installation space.

Maximum capacity

72V 120Ah

The largest option on this page. Use the no-welding battery box and confirm fitment before ordering.

No-welding installation option

The 100Ah and 120Ah versions do not have to be installed by welding a modified battery compartment. Our dedicated no-welding box replaces the original box and provides the required space for the larger battery.

BMS and controller compatibility

• Bluetooth monitoring for percentage, voltage, current, temperature and cell-group information
• Standard high-performance BMS configuration
• Optional higher-current BMS available for the 100Ah and 120Ah models when paired with a larger compatible controller and motor
• A programmable 72V-compatible controller is required
• The original 60V charger cannot be used; the compatible charger is included

Compatibility

Designed for compatible NIU NGT, NGTS, NPRO, NQI, N1S, N1 and NQI Sport configurations. NGT and NGTS models require a compatible 72V software service or a suitable main-harness and controller configuration.
