What Makes Our Battery Cells Different?
This battery is built using large-format lithium cells used in high-end electric vehicles. Compared to traditional 18650 cells, fewer individual cells are required, resulting in fewer weld points and improved long-term reliability.
Aluminium casing per cell for improved safety – as opposed to soft pouch batteries, our batteries provide much greater safety.
Light weight and high capacity – compared to lead acid batteries these are heavier, provide less range, and have a lower life cycle.
The batteries can provide more capacity per cell, reducing the amount of strings in the battery (amount of cells), which leads to fewer welding points and thus a longer life cycle (18650 has ~900 cycles, whereas large-format cells have ~1400 cycles). Long term this makes a difference.
The battery is tested before shipping to ensure proper fitment and operation.
