Our Bluetooth controller is designed for the NIU NQI Sport and N1S series. The controller features three programmable modes and can achieve speeds of 70+ km/h.

Besides increasing performance, our controller also features Bluetooth programming, which allows you to program various settings such as maximum speed and acceleration. Within our mobile app, you can fine-tune multiple settings in order to adjust the driving style to your preferences. The controller also leaves room for future upgrades, such as a 72V battery setup or other performance modifications.

Installation

1. Unplug the battery and open the trunk. The trunk is secured by four screws.
2. Once you remove the trunk, you will see the controller. The controller is mounted with four screws and has five coloured cables and one plug connected to it.
3. Simply remove the original controller and replace it with the new controller.
4. Once installed, connect to the mobile app and program the controller according to your scooter setup and preferences.
5. Complete video installation instructions and video programming instructions are included.

FAQ

Why does this controller provide more speed and acceleration than the original controller?

The original controller has a limited power output, whereas our controller supports up to 70A. This allows for significantly higher acceleration and top speed.

Will all original scooter features continue to work?

Yes. The controller does not affect the operation of the original features, such as the app, dashboard functions, GPS, alarm system, and other original scooter functions.

What settings can I program?

The controller has an extensive list of programmable options, including:

• Maximum speed for each riding mode
• Acceleration power for each riding mode
• Distribution of acceleration strength per RPM
• Battery settings for a dual-battery setup
• Battery settings for upgrading to a 72V setup

 

In the future, can I use this controller with a larger battery or a different motor?

Yes. The controller is fully programmable and features an auto-learning function. If you upgrade to a higher-voltage battery, you can simply change the battery settings in the controller. If you install a different motor, the auto-learning function can automatically configure the motor settings.

25 km/h or 45 km/h scooter variant

The speed of the scooter is limited by the original controller. By replacing the controller, the original speed limitation no longer applies. This means that both the 25 km/h and 45 km/h variants can be upgraded.

Can I revert back to the original controller?

Yes. If you want to return the scooter to its original setup, you can simply reinstall the original controller.

Can I adjust the scooter to slower speeds?

Yes. Since the controller is fully programmable, you can adjust the speed of each riding mode individually.

How will the upgrade affect my battery range?

If you ride normally and only occasionally accelerate harder than before, the range will be similar to the original controller. However, if you ride at maximum performance, battery range may decrease by approximately 20%.

Further Accessories

• If you want more power, you can upgrade to a 72V battery, allowing speeds of over 100+ km/h. The controller can be configured for different voltage systems.
• You can also install a 60V battery together with our dual battery accessory, providing additional power and performance.
• If you want to limit the speed on public roads, you can also install one of our speed limiter accessories.
