This controller is designed to optimize speed and power delivery on the NIU NQIX 150, including the 2025 and 2026 models.
Which controller should I choose?
Standard and recommended
190A Line / 450A Phase
This controller is fully sufficient for the original NIU motor and battery setup. It also remains sufficient when upgrading to a larger 72V battery. A larger controller provides no useful advantage with the original motor because the 190A / 450A controller will not need to be used at its maximum settings.
Heavy performance
400A or 600A Line
Choose a heavy-upgrade controller only when installing a larger performance motor that requires substantially more current. These versions are intended for complete high-power builds with a compatible battery, BMS, motor and wiring.

Installation
- Turn off the scooter.
- Open the trunk and remove the four securing screws.
- Disconnect the five coloured cables and three power plugs.
- Replace the original controller with the upgrade controller.
- Run auto-learn through the Bluetooth app using the supplied guide.
Frequently asked questions
Is the installation plug and play?
The controller connects using the model-specific adapter and original wiring harness. After installation, auto-learn and the required model-specific settings must be completed in the Bluetooth app.
Can I reinstall the original controller?
Yes. The stock controller can be reinstalled at any time.
Can higher performance reduce range?
Yes. Using more power can reduce riding range. The effect depends on the selected settings and riding style.

Will this also fix a fault on my scooter?
A speed upgrade is not a diagnosis of an existing fault. If the scooter already cuts out, has an error code or does not run, send us the fault details before choosing a replacement controller.
