NIU NQi Sport / N1S / N1 Bluetooth controller
Replace the controller to unlock approximately 70–75 km/h with a compatible setup. Set the maximum speed and acceleration for three riding modes from your phone.
Choose the correct scooter
The recommended configuration is 80A battery current / 260A phase current. Select the matching scooter option before ordering.

Bluetooth programming
Set the speed and acceleration for each of three riding modes. You can adjust the settings again later if your compatible battery or motor setup changes.
Installation
Replace the original controller, reconnect the supplied plugs and adapter where required, then run the motor self-learning setup and model-specific Bluetooth programming. Allow approximately 20 minutes for installation and setup.

Performance and range
Higher performance depends on the battery, motor, controller settings, rider and riding conditions. Using the extra performance can increase energy use and reduce riding range.
With battery upgrades
A compatible dual-battery setup may allow up to 80+ km/h. A compatible 72V battery setup may allow up to 100 km/h. Actual speed depends on the complete scooter setup, motor, battery, programming and riding conditions.
Using the extra performance increases energy consumption and may reduce riding range by approximately 20%.

What should I do if I have trouble programming the controller?
Follow the supplied model-specific guide and repeat self-learning and Bluetooth pairing. If you still need help, send your order number, exact scooter model, the step where setup stops, and a photo or screenshot of any error.

Package arrived quickly, customer service was quick to respond and very helpful. Installation was SUPER easy even with no guide, and the YouTube programming guide is quite helpful.
Out of the box, I got up to 65kph (40mph) from the 52kph (30mph) stock. With some minor adjustments to the accel, max rpm, and speed settings, I can get up to 70kph (45mph) eventually (75 downhill). I weigh around 150lbs, for context.
Recommend putting max speeds to 130, 100, and 50 (for modes 3, 2, and 1) like in the video guide, changing rpm to 1200 (max), and upping speed-loop mode to sport while leaving throttle response at soft, maybe normal.

Ik heb een NIU NQi Sport 2021, begrensd op 49 km/u.
Het is een geweldig apparaat. Eenvoudig te installeren, past goed, het proces duurt max. 30 minuten. Het verhoogt de prestaties goed, de acceleratie wordt intensiever en de topsnelheid is nu niet beperkt. Ik weeg 110 kg, bij mij ligt het eind rond de 65 km/u, maar dat is meer dan genoeg. Het beste is dat de vervelende gas limiet boven de 40 km/u verdwijnt en boven de 49 km/u geen afregeling. Er is geen noemenswaardig verlies van batterijvermogen, het bereik is nog steeds 50-60 km, zoals oorspronkelijk. Ik was bang voor de extra hitte, maar het is OK, in 30 Celsius, na max. prestatie was er geen oververhitting.
Dit is hoe deze scooter standaard moet worden verkocht … Sterk aanbevolen spullen. Dus heel erg bedankt, ik ga het behouden.

I have a NIU NQi Sport 2021, limited to 49 km/h.
It is a great device. Easy to install, fits well, the process takes max. 30 minutes. It increases the performance well, the acceleration becomes more intensive, and the top speed is not limited now. I am 110 kg, with me the end is around 65 km/h, but is is more than enough. The best is that annoying throttle controll over 40 km/h disappears, and over 49 km/h there is no downregulation. There is no significant battery power loss, the range is still 50-60 km, like originally. I was afraid about the extra heat, but it is OK, in 30 Celsius, after max. performance there was no overheating.
This is, how this scooter should be sold by default… Highly recommended stuff. So, thanks a lot, I’m gonna keep it. 🙂

Dit heeft mij erg geholpen! Makkelijk te installeren kabels en goede videohandleiding! En de meegeleverde software is heel erg eenvoudig om parameters te wijzigen! Ik zou het ten zeerste aanbevelen om het te combineren met een extra batterij, dat zal de hele ervaring een stuk beter maken! Wat dit een perfecte mix maakt, is de mogelijkheid om topsnelheid en afstand nauwkeurig af te stemmen en je voelt dat de acceleratie krachtiger is!

This helped me a lot! Easy to install cables and good video manual! And the software included is very very easy to change parameters! I would highly recommend combining it with an extra battery, that will make the whole experience a lot better! What makes this a perfect blend is the ability to fine tune top speed and distance and you can feel the acceleration is more powerful!

De controller was heel eenvoudig te installeren. Een paar schroeven, 5 kabels met ringkabelschoenen en een multicontact. Het was toen om de nieuwe controller gewoon in omgekeerde volgorde te installeren. Plug and play. Alles werkte direct en de scooter doet nu zoals beloofd 70 km / u gemakkelijk. Het voelt ook aanzienlijk alerter en sterker in de motor. Ik heb nog geen merkbare verslechtering in het bereik van de batterij opgemerkt.

The controller was very easy to install. A couple of screws, 5 cables with ring cable shoes and a multi contact. It was then to just to install the new controller in reverse order. Plug and play. Everything worked directly and the scooter now does as promised 70 km/h easy. It also feels significantly more alert and stronger in the motor. I haven’t noticed any noticeable deterioration in the range of the battery yet.
